"The very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid." We are told that in Luke 12:7. God has a plan for ALL of us. Free will allows us to deny that calling, and stepping into it doesn't guarantee every prayer we have will be answered, but God's ways are above ours. Denying Him and indulging the flesh may lead to temporary happiness, but it will be fleeting. King Solomon has everything the world had to offer, EVERYTHING, and he called it all meaningless; It was all meaningless without God. God's promises are not meant for THIS world, as many prosperity (false) pastors like to tell you. God's blessings are meant to be shared, not collected. Anything that pulls you away from a closer relationship with God, is not from God. That happens due to a lack of honesty in the world about who Jesus was and still is.
Finding TRUTH is the necessary component for peace. Anxiety, fear, stress, they are all the results of the enemy creating chaos and confusion in this world by twisting God's truth, and selling us a lie about what will bring us happiness during this lifetime.
I've had my ups and downs. Crowning achievements coupled with major trials and periods of depression. The enemy wants to use trials and tribulations to break us, God will use them to fortify our faith and as a tool to help others going through the same things. They all played a part in leading me where I am today, trying to let go of myself and what I want, so I can be a part of God's master plan, allowing Him to lead the way. It's not easy, but the more I surround myself with other believers, the easier that is. We are all called to be the salt and the light, so leading others to Christ is a duty that we do out of love, by choice, not obligation.
